David Gofman is a Clinician and Intake Manager at Causeway Collaborative. He is a Westport native, and a graduate of Staples High School. He graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Television/Radio, gaining invaluable insight into the arts of listening and communication, before earning a Master of Arts at the University of Denver in Sport and Performance Psychology.
David’s clinical experiences comes from working at the inpatient, residential, and partial-hospitalization levels of care at an Eating Disorder hospital in Denver. While earning his Masters degree, David’s research examined identity formation in competitive video game players, while his other interests have led him to complete several silent meditation retreats in the Rocky Mountains.
With a diverse array of interests, David looks to bring flexibility, presence, authenticity, and compassion to everything that he does, and to help the young men he works with reconnect to their own unique potentialities to live value-driven lives.
