Joel Singer is a passionate educator and mentor, with teaching experience ranging from traditional suburban and urban settings to alternative learning institutions. Joel is a graduate of Roger Williams University, where he studied history and secondary education. He began his career as a history teacher in Massachusetts. While teaching, Joel obtained his MAT from UMass Dartmouth. In 2016, he received a Ph.D. from UMass Dartmouth in the field of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies.
Joel’s focus and passion for education goes beyond the classroom. As a class advisor, tutor, night-school teacher and administrator, and varsity coach, Joel has honed the skills needed to serve as a leader and a guide to students, particularly young men. Joel employs his practical experience to help students understand themselves and empowering them to recognize and realize their goals.
