Jonathan Miller

LPC, 200YTT

Jon Miller is a Therapeutic Mentor at Causeway Collaborative. He is from Hamden, CT and graduated from Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. While there, he was a member of the Stonehill College Men’s Soccer team, where he walked-on and worked his way into a contributing role on the team. Jon continued his education at Regis College, receiving his Master’s in Counseling Psychology. Jon was presented with an award of overall excellence for his contributions within his internship and strong academic standing during his graduate studies.
 
Jon’s experience began as a clinician at Chamberlain International School, a residential educational program in Massachusetts. Utilizing a person-centered approach, Jon worked with students in highlighting core values and self-interests to help move them closer to their goals. Returning to Connecticut, Jon expanded upon his experience at Waterford Country School, providing diagnostic conceptualizations and recommendations for appropriate levels of care for residents. Jon is currently working towards a 200-level yoga teacher training (YTT) to effectively support his clients with a mindfulness-based intervention. Jon brings excitement and a commitment to meet clients where they currently are helping them arrive at where they want to be.
