Conflict and communication issues within the family throw up barriers to a young man’s progress. Causeway requires both client and family to be all in on this journey, especially when you live together in one home. This is one of the most effective ways to ensure your son’s growth, development, and success in achieving his goals.
Our team will work with you to bring family conflicts to light. Left unaddressed, these challenges can generate resentment and confusion. Part of this is making sure that you as parents hear your son’s needs and wants. Our experienced therapists will guide you as a group in establishing ground rules, working through past issues, and providing the clarity that is needed to reach resolution.
As we move through this consistent, open-ended process of discovery together, you’ll improve the quality of family communication, build positive family dynamics, and reduce the grievances you have with one another.
The Causeway team is not a group of clinicians hiding behind a veil of confidentiality. We specialize in behavioral health for young adults. We’ll keep you as parents up to speed on what’s happening with your son—and so will your son, because we’ll all be together in one room. At Causeway, parents stay informed. At the same time, we cultivate your son’s ability to hold court—to find his voice. To communicate his needs to both you and the team.
“The entire team at Causeway is nothing short of incredible. I am now in a place where I never envisioned myself at. The guys are the most profesional, and caring individuals I have ever met. I cannot put into exact words how happy I am to have worked with them.”
“Causeway offered me extraordinary services that have helped me accomplish goals I didn’t believe I’d be able to at this point last year. Everyone there was supportive and understanding of my situation and I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done.”
“I have changed a lot since my first time at Causeway Collaborative, and I’m so proud of where I am now. They truly do things the right way.”
At Causeway Collaborative, we are proud to serve young men across a range of locations. Our services are available in Westchester County, NY, as well as Fairfield County and Hartford County in Connecticut, with offices located in Westport, CT; West Hartford, CT; and White Plains, NY. Whether you’re in need of therapy, counseling, coaching, or mentorship, our experienced team is here to support your personal and professional growth. No matter where you are, we’re committed to helping you overcome challenges and move forward with confidence.
Q: What is Futures?
A: Futures is career and educational support. It focuses on meeting your son’s unique needs by supporting him as he pursues the goals and objectives he has identified for himself. The Causeway team helps your son clarify his broader plan, and then bolsters him in building the skills he needs to make that plan a reality.
Q: Can someone just do Futures as a stand-alone program?
A: Absolutely. If your son wants to focus solely on Futures, he will still need to complete the standard onboarding process with consult, intake, and feedback session(s). Then he can move forward with Futures. The only exception would be if the team identifies clinical concerns requiring therapy as part of a plan to ensure safe and effective care.
Q: How much does a life coach cost?
A: The cost of life coaching is customized based on a young man’s goals and the time needed to achieve them.
Q: Are there life coaches for young adults?
A: Yes. We provide tailored coaching services to help young adults set goals, achieve those goals, and gain confidence.
Q: Is a life coach covered by insurance?
A: Insurance usually does not cover life coaching, but we work with families to find workable solutions.
