Samantha is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a family therapist at Causeway Collaborative. She graduated from Syracuse University with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy receiving the graduation award for Social Justice. Samantha has extensive experience working with adolescents and families, working from a family systems perspective throughout her career. Samantha also has expertise in family therapy during residential treatment, providing clinical supervision and program development. Samantha is Level II certified in Attachment Based Family Therapy, and prioritizes family engagement as a key factor in treating adolescent and young adult mental health. Samantha believes that family involvement in treatment is critical to long term and sustainable healing.
Additionally, Samantha has substantial experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, including sexual and physical abuse. She also has expertise working with the LGBTQ+ community and issues related to gender and sexuality. Samantha is an established conference speaker and has been featured in numerous National News and Media outlets including CBS Evening News, Yahoo!Life and HOLA!USA.
